Wagner Realty Welcomes Matt Kezar, Commercial Agent
Bradenton, FL – Matt Kezar has joined Wagner Realty, where he focuses on commercial real estate brokerage, bringing a deep background in acquisition, entitlement, development, sales, and leasing. A Tampa Bay native, Matt began his professional career with a military education and service before transitioning into real estate development and investment.
Prior to joining Wagner Realty, Matt spent nearly a decade at Ian Black Real Estate, where he built a strong reputation for managing complex commercial projects. His earlier leadership roles includes Executive Vice President at Corvus International, Partner at The Bennett Group, Principal of Blackrock Development Holdings, and Vice President at MBK Real Estate Services. This has equipped him with a broad, hands-on skill set across all phases of development and deal execution.
Over the course of his career, Matt has worked with a wide range of notable clients, including The Bennett Group, Goodwill Industries, Century Golf Partners, M/I Homes, Holland & Knight, IberiaBank, Orangetheory Fitness, PDQ, Palmer Ranch, 7-Eleven, RaceTrac, Flagship Self Storage, and Geartz Construction. His transaction experience spans residential and commercial sectors, including the development and sale of more than 600 residential lots, entitlement and buildout of large-scale mixed-use and industrial projects, and leasing and management of Class A office space.
Matt is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering & Management. He served as a commissioned Armor Officer and Brigade Headquarters Executive Officer in the U.S. Army and completed advanced training at Airborne School and Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare School.
He is an active member of the National, Florida, and Sarasota-Manatee Associations of Realtors and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Matt has also been deeply involved in the local community, serving in leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations.
His professional achievements include recognition by the Gulf Coast Business Review as a "Top 40 Under 40" business leader in the Tampa Bay area and selection to the President's Council of the Manatee County Economic Development Council.
