Fourth of July Sarasota

Our real estate agents are ready for Independence Day fun! Are you?

No matter if you choose Bradenton homes for sale or Sarasota homes for sale, you're never more than minutes from some amazing events in Sarasota County. Let's take a look:

  • Independence Day Celebration with the Bradenton Marauders – 1611 9th Street Southwest, Bradenton, FL 34205
Independence Day Celebration with the Bradenton Marauders is taking place at the iconic LECOM Park. It's hosted by the Bradenton Marauders, our very own Minor League Baseball team. The first 1,500 fans to arrive will receive special Fourth of July-themed surprises. This year, there is a game scheduled, so don't be late! The game starts at 6:30 p.m., and fireworks will follow the action.

  • Sarasota Fireworks on the Lake – 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Bradenton, FL 34235
Happening at the beautiful Nathan Benderson Park, Sarasota Fireworks on the Lake is an annual event you won't want to miss. It's kicking off on July 3 and will include live music from Twinkle & Soul Radio, a Kids Zone, a whole fleet of the best local food trucks, family-friendly activities, and – of course – a fireworks show. Displays start at 9:00 p.m., but don't worry: if you can't attend in person, catch the recording on ABC 7 on July 4!

  • Anna Maria Island Privateers Fourth of July Parade – See Website for Location on Coquina Beach
The Anna Maria Island Privateers Fourth of July Parade is a beloved event that takes place every year on July 4. It's the perfect warm-up for later fireworks and other festivities. The crew all comes together at 10:00 a.m. and will be on the march until 12:30 p.m. with themed floats and other delights. The route runs from Coquina Beach to the Anna Maria City Pier. Just remember, most participants use water, so you might get wet!

  • Fourth of July Fireworks on the Manatee River – See Website for Location Information in Bradenton, FL
Fourth of July Fireworks on the Manatee River is just what you would hope for from a Bradenton and Sarasota Independence Day event. You get to enjoy the unique outdoor beauty of our area on the Manatee River as you see a thrilling fireworks display that ranks as one of the best in Florida. No matter if you happen to find a spot on the Palmetto or Bradenton side, you'll have terrific views that will stick with you long after it's all over!

  • North Port July Fourth Firecracker 5K Run – 6400 West Price Boulevard, North Port, FL 34291
North Port July Fourth Firecracker 5K Run is a stupendous way to stretch your legs and support charity at the same time. Now drawing thousands of participants every year, the core of the event is the 5K run from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on July 4. Thanks to sponsorship by North Port High School, there's also the option for a one-mile walk around the track. Can't make it? You can still participate in the Virtual 5K Run!

  • Fourth of July Picnic – Knights Hall, 512 Substation Road, Venice, FL 34285
Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus #7052, the annual Fourth of July Picnic helps to honor this occasion while creating opportunities to give back to the community. It starts out with a patriotic ceremony at 11:30 a.m., followed by the picnic at noon. Barbecued lunch offerings will be available, including hamburgers, corn, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, bratwurst, and an ice cream sundae bar for dessert.

From fireworks over the Manatee River to festive parades on Anna Maria Island and family fun at Nathan Benderson Park, there's no shortage of ways to celebrate Independence Day across Sarasota County.
