Sarasota Pools

Sarasota's sunny climate is one of its most attractive features, promising endless days of outdoor fun. But what do you do when it gets too hot for comfort? Instead of just turning up the air conditioning, consider heading out for an outing at one of these outdoor pools and splash pads near our Sarasota and Bradenton homes for sale.

  • Bayfront Park - 5 Bayfront Drive, Sarasota, FL 34236
Bayfront Park is a community park near our Sarasota homes for sale with a newly renovated, fully accessible splash pad for local kids to enjoy. From interactive water features and whimsical marine animal decorations to a climbing structure themed to look like the crow's nest of a pirate ship, there are enough interesting sights and play opportunities to keep youngsters busy for days. Large sails hang overhead to provide plenty of shade, and there are many nearby benches where you can relax while your kids enjoy longer play sessions.

  • G.T. Bray Park - 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West, Bradenton, FL 34209
G.T. Bray Park is another public park with an impressive aquatic center on its grounds. This one includes an Olympic-sized pool with a diving area and diving boards, and a shallower kiddie pool for inexperienced swimmers. There's also a splash pad and a towering waterslide with three separate flumes to keep crowds manageable and maintain safety. Pool passes cost $3 per person and get you access to all of these facilities for the full day. You can also purchase monthly passes for $20 per person.

  • Bradenton Riverwalk Splash Pad - 452 3rd Avenue W, Bradenton, FL 34205
The Bradenton Riverwalk Splash Pad is part of the city's famous Riverwalk, a long stretch of picturesque parkland on the banks of the Manatee River. The sprawling splash pad is equipped with more than a dozen fountains. Our real estate agents love that it's close to public bathrooms and a local ice cream shop, making it easy to spend a full afternoon in the area without having to walk too far with little ones in tow.

  • Arlington Park Aquatic Center – 2650 Waldemere Street, Sarasota, FL 34239
Arlington Park's Aquatic Center boasts a 50-meter lap pool and a 25-yard instructional pool, both of which are available for public use every day except Sunday. Depending on when you visit, you may be restricted to certain lanes when swimming in the lap pool. Admission is $4 a day for adults and $2 a day for children. You'll need to create an account with the City of Sarasota Parks & Recreation Department to get in, though, so be sure to bring your phone with you and store it in one of the secure on-site lockers while you swim.

  • East Bradenton Park - 1119 13th Street E, Bradenton, FL 34208
East Bradenton Park contains two facilities to help Sarasota and Bradenton families cool off: the Willie J. "Bro" Clemons, Jr. Community pool and a 3,000-square-foot splash pad. The pool is currently closed for renovations but is expected to reopen sometime in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the splash pad is still running and is sure to delight young kids. As a bonus, many of the fountains feature overhead sprays that make it easy for adults to get some quick relief from the heat.
