Burger Day Sarasota
As summer draws to a close, it's the perfect time to savor the last of the warm, sunny days with meals at some of the best local spots. And if there's one food that captures summer in a bite, it's a delicious, juicy burger. Our real estate agents recommend these wonderful restaurants around Bradenton homes for sale and Sarasota homes for sale to enjoy the end-of-summer vibes.

  • Food+Beer - 4808 14th St. W., Bradenton, FL 34207
The name says it all: Food+Beer is a comfy, casual spot dedicated to providing creative eats and top craft brews. With extensive backgrounds in the restaurant industry, founders Casey and Mike prioritize scratch-made food with quality ingredients. Their burger list includes gourmet options such as You Jel?, a spice-lovers dream topped with chipotle cream cheese, jalapeño pepper jelly, bacon, and roasted jalapeños, as well as a breakfast burger. Hours are 10 a.m. - 1 a.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. - 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. - 2 a.m. Saturday.

  • Boo's Ice House & Dog Bar - 1314 10th St., Sarasota, FL 34236
Isn't it always nice to spend time with your BFF over a good meal? Take your four-legged friend along to Boo's Ice House & Dog Bar. Enroll Fido in a daily, monthly, or annual membership in Boo's Pack, and he can frolic off-leash in the outdoor dog park. While you dine on specialty dog-themed burgers such as the Mastiff, served between two grilled cheese sandwiches, your pup can enjoy a plain burger patty, bacon and cheese "charcuterie," and other treats from the doggie menu. Boo's Ice House is open noon - 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, noon - 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday.

  • Cha Cha Coconuts - 417 St. Armands Cir., Sarasota, FL 34236
All-American burgers take on the taste of the tropics at Cha Cha Coconuts. Their popular Hawaiian burger comes with juicy grilled pineapple, avocado, red onion, and Swiss cheese. Add more Caribbean flavor with sides and appetizers such as conch fritters, island fries, and black bean chili. The indoor dining room decor and lush greenery surrounding the outdoor seating enhance the tropical ambiance. Hours are 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily except Friday and Saturday when doors are open until 11 p.m.

  • Brick's Smoked Meats - 1528 State St., Sarasota, FL 34236
The fusion trend isn't just for global cuisines. In their own words, Brick's Smoked Meats is "where Texas 'cue meets Florida flair." Brick's uses the traditional low-and-slow method to bring out the flavor in their meats, including their signature 18-hour USDA Prime brisket, and the same pride and care goes into making their showcase burgers. The chophouse burger can be found on the lunch and dinner menus, while the breakfast burger with cheddar cheese, peppered bacon, and a sunny-side-up fried egg is a star of the weekend brunch menu. Brick's is open 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday.

  • Station 400 - 400 N. Lemon Ave., Sarasota, FL 34236
Station 400 is named for the historic railroad depot that houses it. Once located in Kentland, Indiana, the charming building was carefully disassembled piece by piece and reconstructed in Sarasota. The namesake Station Burger, perfect for brunch or lunch, is topped with smoked cheddar, bacon, onion marmalade, Bibb lettuce, tomato, and a fried egg and served on a toasted English muffin. Station 400 is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

There's much more to life in Florida than great burgers. Contact us at Wagner Realty for cheerful and knowledgeable help with all your real estate needs.
