Forget Halloween. The holiday season officially kicks off with Oktoberfest, a lively celebration of beer, food, and music. The rise of craft beer has taken this event to a whole new level, as our real estate agents plan to visit these great breweries and events in and around Sarasota.

Are you ready to rock? For the third consecutive year, Sarasota Rocktoberfest brings Bavaria to the downtown area. Sample a variety of sausages, mustards, and German dishes such as Kasespatzel, or cheese noodles. Musical performances range from classic rock and country to blues and big band. The family- and pet-friendly festival features a marketplace of arts and crafts from local artisans. The traditional German celebration takes on a truly global flair at Motorworks Brewing, right down the street from Bradenton homes for sale. Celtoberfest blends Bavarian and Celtic cultures for double the fun and entertainment. Bring Fido and the kids along to enjoy live music (including bagpipes), games, and food and drink specials. That's how many will be represented at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium for Sharktoberfest, possibly the most unique fall celebration you'll ever see around Sarasota homes for sale. Local and regional breweries will be on hand serving their signature and seasonal brews as you take in the amazing sights of the aquarium. Live entertainment plus food and merchandise vendors add to the experience.
