Press Release: Chip Brooks Joins Wagner Realty's Manatee Avenue Office

BRADENTON, FL, August 10, 2020 – Chip Brooks has joined Wagner Realty's Manatee Avenue Office as a Broker Associate and Waterfront Property Specialist. Chip is a veteran Realtor with more than 30 years of experience. He has held his broker's license since 1990. Chip is one the of the founding members of the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy which is now IMG Academies. He served in a leadership position at IMG for 35+ years, retiring from IMG in 2015.
In the early 2000's, Chip founded Chip Books Realty, with a specialization in new construction. As his career progressed, he decided to focus on waterfront properties as well, earning a Master Inspection Certification for decks, docks, and seawalls. He purchased his first waterfront property at La Costa on Bradenton Beach in 1979 and has lived in a waterfront property for the past 22 years.
A native of Jefferson City, TN., Chip moved to Longboat Key in 1977. He married his wife Patty in 1980 and they moved to Bradenton, raising four children in Manatee County. Their children all attended local schools, including St. Stephen's School, Bradenton Christian School and IMG. Chip is an ordained deacon at West Bradenton Baptist Church and volunteers for W-316, a non-profit for youth with the mission of reaching local teens with the message of John 3:16.
