BRADENTON, FL, October 12, 2020 – Joan Oliszewski of Wagner Realty's Manatee Avenue West Office has been recognized as a REALTOR® Emeritus. The REALTOR® Emeritus program is a special membership status presented by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) honoring REALTORS® who have maintained their membership for 40 years or more.
Joan came to the USA from French St. Martin in 1961 and has lived in nine states. She moved to Manatee County in 1977. Her real estate career began in 1973 with a builder in Ohio. When she made the move to Florida, she moved her license too, later partnering with her daughter Julie Oliszewski; the team just celebrated their 15-year anniversary!
"I think it's vital to give back to the community," notes Joan, adding "Julie and I are members of Phi Beta Psi, whose mission is to raise funds for cancer research. We also raise funds to support a local child or parent in need. The child we sponsored last year had brain cancer. His wish was to swim with the dolphins at Tampa Aquarium, and we were able to grant his wish. Sadly, he lost his battle over the summer." Joan and Julie sell poinsettia's as a fund-raiser – details will be posted on their Facebook page.
Joan works at Wagner Realty's Manatee Avenue West Office located at 7411 Manatee Avenue West Bradenton, FL 34209, by phone at 941.920.0741, on the web at www.FlSunshineHomes.com or by email at JoanOliszewski@WagnerRealty.com.
