Dog park Bradenton

If you've been feeling stuck at home over the last few months, imagine how your dog feels. Treat your pup to an exciting afternoon by getting out and about around Sarasota and Bradenton. Our real estate agents encourage you to check out these seven dog-friendly parks to bring your four-legged friend.

  1. Arlington Paw Park – 2650 Waldemere St., Sarasota, FL 34239
Now that the humidity is lifting and the weather is cooling down, you're sure to find yourself cruising around to check out the latest Sarasota homes for sale. While you're out, why not bring your pup to the Arlington Paw Park. This former baseball field is now a sprawling dog park separated into two areas for large and small dogs, respectively. Although it's uncovered, there is plenty of water available to help your pup keep cool as it plays. Next door is Arlington Park, and though it's a people-park, you're welcome to walk your dog on-leash as well.

  2. Robinson Preserve – 1704 99th St. NW, Bradenton, FL 34209
Another great park near our Bradenton homes for sale is Robinson Preserve. Nearly 500-acres of coastal and wetland habitat are yours to explore with your pup. Walk the trails with your dog and keep an eye out for the many diverse species of wildlife along the way. You can also opt to enjoy this green space alone, as there are plenty of opportunities for kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, fishing, skateboarding, and playing in the children's playground.

  3. Brohard Park 1600 Harbor Dr. S, Venice, FL 34285
Even your dog will love a trip to the beach when you live near Venice homes for sale. Brohard Park offers a little bit of everything for locals and their pets. Bring your dog along to enjoy a fun day at their dog park or if your dog loves the water, take him to the dog-friendly beach. Other amenities available at this park include a fishing pier, bait shop, volleyball nets, and picnic areas.

  4. Blackstone Dog Park – 2112 14th Ave. W, Palmetto, FL 3422
If you are looking at Palmetto homes for sale, be sure to check out Blackstone Dog Park to get your pup acquainted with the area. This Manatee County dog park is open from sunrise to sunset and offers different sections for small and large dogs. Be sure to check out their rules before planning your visit. Visitors can also utilize the covered shelters for picnicking in a peaceful shaded area.

  5. Dog Leg Canine Park – 7550 69th St. E, Palmetto, FL 34221
Your dogs will love living near Parrish homes for sale when you take them to Dog Leg Canine Park. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and even has a doggie drinking fountain available to keep your pup hydrated during their visit.

  6. Laurie Crawford Dog Park – 51st St. W, Bradenton, FL 34209
Another great Manatee County park perfect for off-leash fun! Laurie Crawford Dog Park offers a fenced-in, three-acre park for your pet to explore. Take your pup for a trip between sunrise and sunset. Other amenities include a doggie drinking fountain, picnic tables, and free waste bags.
