This area also includes beautiful inland parks, including Lake Manatee Recreation Area and Rye Wilderness Park. Don’t miss the South Florida Bishop Museum and the Bradenton Riverwalk. Manatee County municipalities include Bradenton, Ellenton, Palmetto, Parrish, Oneco, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach. The Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport is also located here.  Manatee County has wonderful schools (many quite new) and is rated one of the best places to live in the country.
