Richard N. Armstrong, Sr, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Louisville Male High School (an all R.O.T.C. facility), and the University of Louisville (Kentucky). Richard served two years active in the Naval Reserve, and four years in the United States Navy where he graduated from the Naval School of Music. He then served in Naval Bands in the United States Sixth Fleet of Operations in the Mediterranean and at the U.S. Naval Facility in Philadelphia, PA. A twenty-five year career of sales and service followed, with Richard having earned recognition awards from: Toastmasters International, Regal Marine Industries, The Sales and Marketing Executives International of Orlando, and RE/MAX International. Richard was graduated from The Institute of Florida Real Estate Schools in Orlando, Florida, achived his CRS (Certified Residential Specialists) Certification and is presently a member in good standing with the Manatee County Board of Realtors.  Richard has been married to the former Susan Altier for 39 years and they have three sons and a daughter.
